Bloody electrics. I'm just after some input on what to look at.
TD5 110. 2000
Indicate left Ok.
Indicate right = right indicators, fog light (fitted to the right) both tail lights, left front side light. - Note on this car left side light and tail lights run on the same fuse. Right side light has it's own fuse.

I was going to check out the towing socket before looking at wires exiting the chassis. After that wires into chassis and then behind the dash. Failing that new loom?? Has anybody come across a similar problem or got a better suggetion to diagnose the problam. Unfortunaly this wont get attention until the weekend if I'm lucky.

I would be checking the earth connections around the indicators if I was you.

Sounds like the earth to me too, the indicators are earthing back through the other bulbs.

If I turn on the fog, the right indicators come on.
Easy way to identify if it is on the earth side or power side is to remove both bulbs. If the other lights still come on then it's power side.

+1 Bad earth

Earth sounds right - tell me what you find (i.e. where the poxy earth connection is for that rh rear loom). Had the brake lights doing it to me a couple of weeks back - running the fuel pump so wouldn't turn off!!!!) - but stopped doing it before I had the chance to trace it (though I did give the tow electrics a good blast of brake cleaner and then WD40 just in case). Have to sit it out waiting for it to start again. Or is that 'not stop' again.....? A
