Just wondering if anyone has fitted an electric fan on their 200 tdi converted 90 that is bolted to the frame and not clipped onto fins.
A link would be nice or name of fan would be good.
I can get a fan easily but much easier if I copy someone with a good setup.
Radiator is the 200tdi one.
:)

My 200 converted 90 has a kenlow system, basically two rods across the engine bay behind the rad onto which the fan is fitted.

I just made a square frame with light flat bar, the fan attaches to this, it sits in the groves for the fan coweling at the bottom and bolts to the frame at the top using the wee studs for the cowel at the top, if that makes sense,

Thanks for the info.
What size have you fitted and just one or two fans.
Manual or auto fan.

One fan [14 inch I think ] Its plenty for a 200 with a good rad. Auto on mine but only ever comes on when working hard towing or its really hot. [rare down this way] Can run it manual just to test it now and then or if the stat failed.

The cheap 16 inch universal fans from ebay are nearly big enough to fit from top to bottom of the frame using the supplied plastic clips, the bottom just needs two little tabs to make it fit as the supplied ones dont quite reach, its been on there for at least 5 years, I did self tapper the plastic clips the the plastic fan frame.

Yep I did, I fitted one of these from bolt on bits. The fan mount slots in place of the shroud
