But I think @domino was told otherwise and rather than make it public was checking with trusted members wether it was true.;)

Think the problem is some folk don't understand that not everyone who posts on here is a newbie or rank amateur.

Gonna brave the weather today and instead of working on the Mini, I'll have a look at that spot on my car!

So would I if I could sort out the other laptop after my keyboard fell apart, keep getting "runtime error 75 and path file access error. I'm completely putor illiterate :rolleyes:

That what mine was coming up with earlier in the week when trying to see if i had got the modulation right, not got a nanocom i have earlier rovacom light.

If you change EKA then do you need to tell JLR cos otherwise the next owner is totally b***ered?

Mines a Nanocom MSV2 Extreme. Did you resolve the problem? I've been on the BBS forum, the message is discussed but without a resolution.

If you need to retrieve your EKA code find someone with a Nanocom or Foxwell or Lynx (or Hawkeye?) diagnostic tester to retrieve it.
Nanocom will not retrieve the EKA code. If the BECM is unlocked EKA is visible as is the fob code. If the BECM is locked (normal factory condition) neither are visible. Nanocom cannot unlock the BECM.
