hello all, just wondering what an egr valve is, and has my 200tdi engine got one? if so, where is it

no egr on 200 TDi.

EGR = exhaust gas recirculation---supposed ta help yer car b more envirinmentaly friendly by taking a small portion of yer burnt exhaust gas and recycling it back to yer inlet manifold, thus reducing yer carbon footprint. piece o ****e as far as im concerned, ferkin fouls up everything. mine is in the bin.
