Ok I've removed the egr on my 1998 300tdci and fitted the blanking plate . While sorting the top intercooler hose I noticed that inside the hose and inlet manifold was lined with black sludge . Now I take it I'm gonna have to remove both the intercooler and inlet manifold to flush them clean . My question is how hard is it and should I be wary of any pitfalls ??

Thanks in advance Mick

Thank's for that . I'll order myself a new gasket and clean the pair of them , I cant believe how much gunk is in the inlet manifold !! No wonder it's a little slugish

Just been out for a drive to test it and it has made a big differance . Pulls better less smoke and will drive @ 30 mph in 5th without labouring
