Morning All,

Eas valve block refurbishment

Just finished replacing all the o rings and diaphragm on a spare block, I ordered the o ring kit from Island 4x4 and have 1 o ring over from the solenoid bag and about 20 o rings over from airline bag  positive i did not miss any, and confirm I put 2 o rings in each airline holes on side of block as that is what I removed. Is it usual to have extras in the kit ?

Also the best way to test the block ? on car I presume or ??

Thanks

Count the O rings in the kit and count as you remove the old ones if you have more in the kit than you removed, they oversupplied. Test on the car.

+1 Although if you've bought new bags (certainly the arnott ones) they have o-rings in already.

Unless of course you have three with and one without. Took me an hour of trimming pipes and flaffing before I realised Arnott had decided not to fit them to one of my new bags.

:hysterically_laughi

Although I can't talk really - the less said about my EAS overhaul the better - Saint, Datatek and Wammers can all attest to that :D

<whispers> Still, no issues 7 months later </whispers!!!>

Hi All,

Finally got round to completing my eas Overhaul, job included the following :

New valve block (thanks to member kurtjohnson10)
New driver pack
New compressor (thanks to member kurtjohnson10)
New air dryer
New air lines Total cost including delivery charges to Ireland €600

Refurb of old compressor and valve block now finished and tested and on shelf as spares ;)

New Gen II air springs were fitted a few months back, as were front height sensors. Thanks for all the advice given prior to undertaking the job. Hope not to go there again for a few years
