Hi all. As with my earlier posts, been working on fixing my leaky eas for a few week.
Ive managed to Loose the silencer that screws into the side from outside the casing.
I can prob get one on ebay of course, but thought id check and see if one of you kind people had one knocking around at home.....
Just PM me if you have

Cheers

Local compressed air products supplier will have one, not expensive. System will run fine without it, just a bit of noise when pressure is released.

ahh thanks Datatek.. i won't panic then.
will have a look see if i can find a generic one locally.. am sure they are ££££ from a stealer

dont suppose you know what size and thread they are do you ?? loads of different options online for only a few £

stc2762 | eBay You have to ask yourself why anyone would give you a good silencer then have to buy one at this money to replace it. :D:D

exactly my point..although at one time i did actually have an old spare one.. ( which has evaporated as well )...
Wammers, thanks for the link.. do you know what size / which one i actually need ??

cheers

well, called at the local Air compressor suppliers today to look for a silencer, took an old EAS block with me...
they have 1/4" BSP fittings etc.. but they won't fit.. does anyone know the right size & thread for the silencer ? seams stupid to pay £20 for a new one, when any would do, and they are £2 ( if i can get the right fitting, or thread adaptor etc,

Don't know off hand what thread it is but if you look on the link i posted there are various thread sizes listed. You need a pneumatic control gear supplier like Parkers. Not a compressor factors.

Ahh ok. Just wasnt sure what size i needed off the link...

Measure the diameter and pitch of the thread. Then compare it to thread charts. Plenty around on the net. Possibly 1/8" BSP but don't quote me on that.
