Philip got his D2 V8 MOT's late in the Friday of the LZ10 bash, but as soon as he had it he taxed it online at 16.32 and had an email confirming it.

Later that day at 19.11 he was seen on the A14 at Elkington by a camera of some kind and he received an untaxed vehicle/SORN warning letter.

It seems that the DVLA departments don't talk to each other.

'Tis the puters not talking to each other as the payment might take a while to go through and clear the system.

May be that the problem is not displaying a valid tax disc, I got fined (many years ago) because my tax disc had fallen off the windscreen!!!!

no longer have to display them from oct btw

also tax won't transfer when you buy a vehicle, you'll get a refund if you sell or have to buy new if you buy
