got a p38 2.5 dse today and ran out of diesel on way home up and running now but holds back between 1500 and 2000 above that goes well any ideas please help:doh:

It could be almost anything from the tank to the exhaust so, as it's new to you you'd probably be as well to get your faults read. Hopefully that'll point you in the right direction but if you get them listed before they're cleared it'll give you a sort of history of the car then a clean slate for you to go forward from.

If you're going to stick around you might want to put some sort of location into your details. You'd be mightily ****ed off if you find you live round the corner from a helpful fellow owner.

Welcome

Not only But Also, are going to stick around or do one when you have your Common Fault with that P38 of yours sorted out for free!!!

As this is the place for introductions, then may be it would a good thing if you did JUST THAT, dont you agree?

May be you could start with:

"Hi my name (fill in the blanks) and I not Very considerate, I have made a common mistake, well at least two. And they would be thinking a bargain P38 exisits, and the other is that if I came here with the wrong attitude to others that would be ok. May I start again?

As said, a proper Intro is always appreciated on this forum! You'll get loads of help and good advice on here and loads of **** taking- all part of the fun! take it as its meant and give it back without spitting the dummy out and you'll have some great banter. You'll prob be using this site hell of a lot, seems as you've brought a P38 :p:D
