Hi all. I've been spending the afternoon removing my damaged front wings and getting the jet wash out on inner arches, sills, etc.
On the plus side theres a lot less rust than i expected to find.
Now i've removed the sill trim inside beside the passenger seat and noticed its not that rusty but the foam under the carpet is drenched.
Was thinking of taking the seats out, remove the carpet and wash it anyway.
My question is can i do away with the foam altogether? Its an off road toy so don't care if it increases road noise (just turn the stereo up), but its not going to cause any problems with refitting the interior is it?

Cheers Chris.

no, i removed all my interior trim apart from the dash, door cards, headliner and the 2 front seats, its not that noisy and you better off without it all anyway if it goes near mud. Also all the people i go offroading with bar 1 has done the same

Cool cheers for the info mate, just got the drivers seat and centre console left to remove and should be able to get the front carpet out.
