just noticed that there is a noise quite like an electric motor running coming from the drivers side head light on my face lift disco had a listen to the near side light and it seems silent is this normal

does it with ignition on and off, also does it in side light and dipped positions ty for the reply

it seems that the levelling motor is not "parking" ... the unit which is part of the facelift headlamp has a potentiometer in it which in this case it's fubar'd... afaik you can't chage that cos it's not available as spare and you need a new lamp ... or disable the levelling by unplugging the levelling switch

unplugging sounds good just seen the price of the light units, many thanks for your assistance
