Hi folks

Really need some help...

Only got my FR2 3 weeks ago, and im already having a major issue, and 5 cars in a year with other issues safe to say im bloody cursed...

I started getting a weird 'wooshing' noise under load/acceleration (doesnt happen in neutral, only in gear).

Then all of a sudden boom. Limp mode... got the error 'restricted power'.

Got my odb scanner out and saw that I were getting errors associated with pressure sensors or maf/map, having cleaned the maf and sorted that area out when I first got it, I thought it was either id done something wrong or it wasnt that as an issue.

Later down the road, after clearing the code, the noise disappears... ut then when I clear the code again, it comes back, until limp mode is activated again, assuming some form of sensor reading.

Then all of a sudden 'DPF FULL see handbook' appears... I go i to my scanner and see '590 miles since last regen' and start going 'huh??'. I drive motorway/fast roads more often than not, and have never had a dpf full up before.

The wooshing noise at first I thought 'Boost leak' but the more things add up, im not so sure... rhe fact it doesn't happen unless im in gear, the fact it stops sounding sometimes when the error is up, im just not sure.

Im assuming if its a boost leak, the pressure sensors behind the dpf are sensing theres not enough pressure and therefore looks like the dpf is clogged when it isn't... I just dunno

Ive attached all the screenshots and error codes ive found to this

me and my partner have lost our jobs, im on £70 to last me indefinitely, and ive got a thousand in bills to pay... i finallt get an interview next week and this happens, life has been really bloody tough this past year, and this is all I ****ing need... sad and down.

Cheers

John

Mamaged ti take it off and fix it up with some tape as a quick fix, not much luck as the DPF warning won't go away and im still im limp mode, albeit with a lot more power now.

Going to jump.on Ebay and see if I can pick one up cheap

Hi folks, replaced the pipe today and the map/maf errors and such are gone. However the DPF FULL errors will NOT shift.

It went away for a bit a few days ago, and now just won't go at all... either the dpf is actually full and is pure coincidence it came up when the pipe had split or the sensors buggered, or somethings just triggering it. Really annoying, any ideas?

Is there like an ECU reset we can do with fr2s?

No smoke out the exhaust, and instant limp mode. Tried dpf cleaning additives which worked for a small amount of time before it came back on again... and no matter how many times I clear the code, it still pops up. Ive heard LR are the only ones who can clear it, But I have no job and no money

Image attached but minus the map sensor issue

Been reading some of the forums for people who have had these issues, and I have found a split in the dpf pressure hose... it also doesnt look like its on the line, and the clamp is missing.

Im looking to get some braided fuel hose but im unsure of the diameter I should be looking for?

Scanner should show dpf in and out readings.
If you intend to keep the car I would look at new dpf, especially if the last regen was 500 miles ago.
