gidday,
I have got a couple of 2nd hand door lock actuators for the front doors of my 98 dse, but they are slightly different at the plug. The 2nd hand ones have 2 plugs on each actuator, six wires in total, but mine only has 1 plug and three wires that are hard wired into the unit, six wires in total. Does anybody know if it is possible to tewire my plug to suit, or if it is ok to fit the door loom from the other rangey to mine?

Cheers

in answer to your question mate, yes they are interchangable. just alter the pins on the plugs to suit, i did it to a customers just a couple of weeks ago.

I'm fitting them because mine had stopped working. I later went back and had a look and found that if i followed the loom there was another multiplug and i just swapped the looms over and had to swap 1 small plug. Locks all working fione now , thanks.

Good to know - was asking as I did similar but just swapped the motors but pleased its working
