Did you specify door or bulkhead bolts? Perhaps they are both different sizes?
Did you buy the captive nuts for the bulkhead, I bought some once, Britpart, they snapped and I couldn't hang the door.
Anyway, Why TF would you buy Britpaqrt bolts?
Just go to a hardware or fixings shop.

They came with the hinges and a full set of bolts. I didn’t realise they were britpart until the blue bag arrived otherwise I wouldn’t have done!
The longer bolts measure 50mm from in the head and I notice some other kits the longer of the two sizes are 55mm.

The door hinge bolts are a pretty odd shape. As above ‘standard’ countersunk bolts have too large a head diameter so don’t sit properly in the recess and can come up short.
Get some standard Land Rover ones and all will be well. Or if you really fancy pushing the boat out that expensive German company (Nakatenoonaa or whatever) sell some stainless ones with the correct heads on apparently.

Yes, it's happened to me too. I bought what was supposed to be a replacement bolt set and they were all an unsuitable length. I ended up getting some of the right length off a fastener supplier on Ebay. I ground the heads down to a smaller diameter so they would fit. It's not ideal because the original bolts have quite a steep countersunk angle whereas on most standard ones you buy off the shelf it's much shallower. However, the aftermarket captive nuts were much better. The threaded part was actually welded onto the clip, whereas on the standard ones the clip is just bent round the nut. An enterprising nut can easily liberate itself, and they frequently do.
There was but they would be even shorter then! I will get some Land rover ones. I had already stopped buying anything Britpart that had moving parts or seals, but clearly they cannot even be trusted with bolts which they probably don't even make themselves! I'm certainly not altering my brand new and freshly painted door to accommodate their f**k ups!
