I have been asked for selling advice on a series 2a, but i think it could be a series 3. It has a Series 3 bulkhead, plastic dash and tax exempt, but not sure myself; any pointers on this?

2a only had steel dash the only plastic on it would have been the toggles on any switches

S3 had the plastic dash

now on saying that a S3 bulkhead will fit a 2a chassis and has been done occaisionally

"but" most 2a's with plastic dashes aren't really 2a's at all, you really need to check the chassis and have an idea of the differences to be sure of what you're selling

unless of course you don't care then it's a case of advertising it where ever you can

GF's series 2 has a series 3 dash, bulkhead and wings but it is a 2 as it was built in 1962

like i said the bulkheads can be swapped

The early S3s are tax exempt. What year is it supposed to be? Piccies would really help here

It's a 1971 L plate, no photos sorry. It could be kosher but i'm not 100%. I'll get some pics when I can

I'd say its legit, 71 is early series 3 i believe, so would be tax exempt and have plastic dash etc

Are the demister grilles on the dash big ones about a foot wide that look like grilles or much smaller?
