the drivers side front elec window in my 93 200 tdi is playing up . it wont move unless u bang the door panel very hard and then it moves slowly up and down . i took the panel off ( on a hot day but ill explain about that later ) and checked the mechanism and there wasnt much play in there and everything was nicely greased up and all the wiring was fine . the window went up and down perfectly like that and continued like that after i put the panel back on . the next day it was playing up again , it seems to me that on cold days it doesnt work but on hot days it seems to work better . any ideas ? thanks

Yer mite have yer batter mixture wrong. Try adding another egg.

sounds like it is fooked . Take the panel off again and check the half moon sprocket thing and see if it is loose. If it is then buy another one and fit that.
