OK the next project is really Djdommyp's

As you may have guessed we are related, hes my stepson

Anyway, now finally he has come over to the dark side and got into Land Rovers :D

Well afetr aquiring his nice Disco he wanted to start upgrading it. My brother had an MOT failure 200tdi back up 't North with many of the bits he required

So last Monday we hired a trailer, grabbed the battery from my 80" and set off.

Heres the Disco firing up fir the first time in 6 months. after being stood for 3 years when it failed its MOT with three pages of advisories lol

Soooo.... apart from a bunch of entertaining pics and vids....

What's the actual purpose in all this?! :p

Only just realised killajoules put this on here.

The bank holiday weekends to do list :
Fit :
Winch bumper
Flatdog wheel arches
Roof rack and rails
Snorkel
Paint tow bar and steering arms.

This weekend we started on the suspension upgrade, swapping the springs and shocks from my brothers old donor vehicle onto Doms.

Fortunately we started with the rear, a handful of mates turned up to help including Stutab.

Then we moved onto the front.

Unfortunatly while the lads were getting the front springs out, STu and I started on the donor, this was when we found the n/s front spring was snappad at the top :frusty:

So we had to restore the front of Doms motor to original. Now it is running round with a high arse end.

Cheers for the damper brackets. Will get them sand blasted and painted when I get chance.
