I have been reading that i can just use tropical fish air pump pipe to extend diff gear box etc breathers, is this ok and what fittings do you need? Or would it be better to spend £40 and buy the proper kit off ebay? Cheers Danny

I would say that if you can achieve a watertight joint between old and new pipes, there no reason not to use what you propose.

It's only a breather after all....................................

6mm pipes and joints off ebay... sorted

I ran new pipe from the bottom up, bought 6mm polyurethene off ebay got about 20 meters for £6.99, couple Y connectors for £2 all done. No need to spend £40 on all that when it can be done for much less. Make sure you cable tie the pipe down nice a securley prevent it being ripped off

Called Y connectors. Basicaly puts 2 pipes into one. You can also buy manifolds but connectors where cheaper at the time.

Makes it neater so you dont have 4/6 pipes running up the side of your car just 1/2
