Hi a friend has had a discovery 300 TDI come in at work the rear drivers side has dropped so its like its leaning he has fitted a new set of springs but it is still the same just wondering if anyone knows what it could be causing it.

Rear body mounts rotten. and has collapsed

He sead the mounts have been welded so I'm wondering weather they have rotted and dropped and someone has just welded round them.

Sounds like it. remove rear bumper and check gap between body and chassis rear crossmember. also check the rear corner posts haven't rotted thru.
