Hi evryone,I have a Discovery V8i 1998 and my problem is that when driving the car jerks.Does not happen all of the time,but more often than not.If I ease off the accellarator a bit it stops.Don't think it's the diff.Any help appreciated.

Yes,but don't think it is the plugs as it was serviced recently.Could it have something to do with the air?Sometimes when I stop it also idles irregular with the revs going up and down the whole time.

Did have a problem with power getting to the feul pump as wires were perished,but got an electrician to redo all the wires to the feul pump.Feul filter was replaced.Is there something else in the feul line that I can check?

I'm not into V8's so I don't know much about them. On the diesels there is another filter type device called a sedimentor - looks like a filter - housed in between the chassis rails towards the rear on the offside, so accessed from underneath the vehicle.
On diesels, this sedimentor can get bunged up with debris from the fuel tank and cause symptoms similar to those you describe, but I don't know if this applies to V8's.
YOU could be the person to find out !! If it has one, would you let me know?
