evening,

me and a few mates are planning on going to salisbury plain this weekend and doing some green laning and camping at the same time! was just wondering its a td5 and its had a 2inch lift.

im worried that 4 of us and some camping gear and spare fuel and food will be too much to take with us whilst off roading?

what are your thoughts?

ive removed the rear seats but at the same time added a winch, twin batterys, big wheels and tyres, roof rack. so on its own its most probaly quite heavy

My 110 always has a full load area and often also has extra passengers as ballast on board. The additional weight can sometimes help the tyres to bite in.

Don't need to take massive amounts of stuff. If you get stuck, get your mates to step out the car and try again. If you're still stuck.......you have the winch and 3 mates to try push it.

Think he's concerned about ground clearance due to the extra weight, not pulling power.

read it again he asked about mechanical strain anyou could put 10t in the boot and the diffs would still have the same clearance +/- tyres moving with weight
