hi there i have a 1995 m reg discovery tdi with the oval/single button remote key fob which has started to play up sometimes it will lock/unlock and sometimes it wont i have changed the battery but has made no difference can i buy a used key fob (the ones found on ebay) and have it programmed to work on my discovery or do i have to buy new any help would be great as it takes a while to unlock or lock at the minute and is a right pain in the ar** if its raining thanks chris

mine plays up as well. do the jeremy clarkson trick. hold the remote to ur head works everytime.

i got a new key fob this week it came with details on how to reprogramme it and it woks great now

what year is your land rover as i still have the programme details and can give them to you... is yours the single botton fob as this what i have thanks chris.

hi kizzmyrs got a 93 got fob installation just cant get to program it in instructions say to doit in 8 seconds its not working ?

hi welditup did you buy a new or second hand fob ?? as there is a small chip inside your old fob this MUST be the same as the new/secondhand fob (ie have the same letters/numbers on and be the same frequency) colour of the circuit board does NOT matter although some say it does matter you will need someone to help as it is impossible to push the bonnet button and follow instructions all within the 1st 8 seconds if still struggle heres the web address of the company that supplied mine hope this helps.
