I've seen a granada body on a disco chassis and then of course there's the North OffRoad gaylander GRP shell. Dlander.???

I think it would be proper gay. If you've got a spare disco then make it a good one. Strip it,weld it,mod it. Why not challenge truck or bob tale it?
 
did think about putting summit like a ford transit body on my rusted out disco.... but aint really got the time to play with it.
 
I'd like to put a Bedford cf fibre glass camper body on a disco chassis.

I wouldn't expect anyone on here to be able to advise me though LOL
 
only advise I got is don't bother after me mates experance with the DVLA and SVA test after just stickin a range rover body on a disco chassis ended in a right legal battle
 
I like capris (and most older fords) and i love land rovers and it sounds like you are planning on ruining two cars to make a hidious hybrid. Restore one or the other and flog the one that you arent restoring to make money to fund the restoration.
 
What a bunch of whining old gits! Stop telling him what to do with his hard earned.. If the capri has a nice body but the rest is beyond bothering with and the disco has a good rolling chassis then why the hell not do it?
