My alternator has gone on my 1996 300tdi discovery, upon looking for a new one im getting confused between the different ampages of alternators. I cannot see on my old one what amp it is. any advice?
so far as i am aware, if you have aircon they are 100amp and 65amp without aircon.
for the sake of a couple of quid i would stick the 100amp on, i would think the wiring is the same thickness?
