Could anyone tell me if they have had this fault before with the steering on there landys or any other vehicle fitted with a steering box.
just started the landy up, symptoms were heavy steering, also a whearing noise as if its low on fluid, opend up the bonnet and the pas resivour is full off air, tryed bleeding it by doing lock to lock, but no joy.
also when you put the cap back on the res and rev it to around 2k rpm or above, its pressurising the resivour and chucking the oil out of the cap.
is it more than likely to be the pump or the box?
