My O/S sill has caught the dreaded rot. It's a jap import, so in general it's not a rot-box, but it looks like a hole started in the bottom of the sill, and it's caused dampness and rot to take hold in the floor at the top of the sill

Has anyone got any sills knocking about, going cheap, near the forest of dean area? Cheap box section to suit it would be preferable!

I quite like the look of these actually.

I think I might go the box section route! i've used yrm stuff before, and the outer panel looks pretty good (and cheap) to be fair, but who knows what I'm going to find when I start drilling out the welds! the inner sill is quite pricey.

thinking someone around here might have one in their garage that they don't need any more

with christmas coming, I'm being a tight git!

i built some from an old exhaust and some 120x80x5mm box i got form a local metal place cost me 30 quid +time to make them well worth it

Thanks for that. I've had a good read of that thread. Im going for the box section route too £40 for two half-metre lengths of 60x120X3mm from a local fabricator. Not bad
