I bought this to get back into off roading but have decided its in to good condition
its a 5 door 1998 r reg 300tdi
it is fully standard even down to the stereo
4 electric windows remote locking 2x keys n remotes
cruise control electric sunroof
4 good tyres on good condition alloys
mileage is 206000 but it feels like alot less when you drive
believe it or not (I cudnt ) it has full service history 29 stamps WOW lol
taxed till end of dec

now the bad bit (the catch)
the mot ran out in august and its gonna need welding under the pass rear arch where it connects to boot floor
your welcome to come and have a poke around it see what you think
i,m wanting £900 for it due to its a original condition

sorry but if i dont get near that i,ll buy a welder and put a mot on it then sell for around £1400-1500

Too be very fair mate the offer for £700 is very good.. I dont no why you think its worth so much :confused: Do you really think you will get £1400 to £1500 once the weldings done :eek:, you can get discos with plenty of offroad gear on for that money.:) you would be better off breaking it , then weigh the chasiss and body in.

not everybody wants them with off road goodies tho some what a nice straight 1
i will haggle but aint gonna knock £200 off just like that
 
TBF mate, this aint Facebay or whatever...

I think the offers you have had are more than reasonable. I buy and sell Landys as a part-time occupation.

AT MOST I'd offer you c.500 quid for it.

A lot of the guys on here have a wealth of knowledge, not only mechanical, but also what their motors are worth.

As for 1500-1600 quid, you're bloody dreaming.

He's right though I'm selling same vehicle same age, but with lift. Tamk guard, winch bumper, etc and only looking for £1200 with a full mot. you'll be lucky to get £900 for it with an mot.
