Well as most of you will now know CC's Disco is fooked and in need of much love
Pete started work on it today with the help of his mate Jack
Now the thing is that he's considering BOBTAILING it ...... seems that now would be the perfect time
Boy have Pete & Jack been busy ........ judge for yourselves

If CC didnt he will do by the end of the rebuild

Seriously,he has done the same sort of work to the other 200(spare one)....
The only problem is that the Disco has a private plate...and the vehicle HAS to have MOT to keep the plate...hence the 3 week time limit...otherwise I will have to have the plate on mine or does someone else know of another way??

Latest pics

I had to get the spares wagon over to the workshop so a mate kindly lent me his trailor (he lends it to NOBODY so i class myself as very priveleged)

Once at it's place of execution work started

Now somebody in my local club thought that my Disco did well in the clay pit at Bush Farm when wading ........ i have a theory as to why it coped so well .......

Builders expending foam floatation sills anyone

As can clearly be seen in this pic the rot has gotten quite bad really

The mate thats helping me clearly has a sense of humour

All ready now to get down to some serious welding

you seem to have exactly the right tools to do landrover work namely...

space
time
the right mates

not to forget tools and knowledge of course

Jack getting stuck in with the airsaw

Box section for sill replacement/rock slider

New inner sill ready to go in

Cleaned up n ready for welding

Rusty holes in rear floorpan that had fibreglass filler in them
