Hi All,

I need to replace the rear wiper motor and not sure where to start.......has anyone got a walk through I could follow?

Kind regards

Remove the wiper arm, then the door card. Cut the polthene sheeting under the card so that it can be tapped back together. Unplug the electric feed. Remove 2 bolts holding motor in position and motor will come out as a complete assembly :)

get yourself at least 2x10 packs of rear door card studs, you are bound to break some getting the card off,i broke 12 even though I tried carefully.

Just done mine so..

Follow as instructed above, but dont forget the nut holding the wiper blade on (you need to pry off the wiper arm after removing this) plus the larger nut and seal washer which seals the rotor to the rear door bodywork - The rear washer pipe simply pulls off if you need to remove for ease of access.

Firstly, are you sure your motor is gone?.
They do tend to sieze up and stop.
I thought the same but stripped the whole thing down, re-greased the drive box and lubed the shaft, bush etc and re-assembled and all worked fine.
Go to Amazon for the studs and also a stud removal tool. Very good prices.

All,
I followed the walk though and other advice today and I am pleased to say the new motor went in with very little trouble other than the rubber washer needing a bit of lube applied to it when slotting the new motor through the tail door as it was dislodging from the metal.

Many thanks
