Are you sure ?.
Engaging centre diff lock on the D2 causes the traction controll to work at a reduced parameter. SLABS ecu,s on later cars enabled the TC to work as normal. ( as well as omotting audible " bongs " on engagement and dissengagement ).

yes before 3a diff lock was only used for testing purposes which involved removing 1 prop, so t/c couldnt , be functioning as it would apply brakes to turning wheels,
yes especally if vehicles on a 2 wheel brake roller
If the cdl was engaged in such an instant I pressume it would wind up the transmission, try and jump out the rollers and probably blow a diff.
I have fitted quite a few cdl transfer boxes and suggest that the owner fit a post 3A SLABS unit. It is intriguing to know what controll the later SLABS unit has over the TC with the cdl engaged.
