rang up lrs offroad and tryed to order a pair of wide angle props for a 300tdi disco.front 1 they said ye thats fine and the rear, they said theres no such thing as a wide angle rear prop for a disco.is that true??

youd need to remove rubber dough nut and fit 4 bolt flange with 200 tdi prop ,google frc8387

WHS - this will easily cope with an extra 4-5" droop angle if not more, after that there are other wide angles available but are specialist made ones I believe....

so he was right.u cant get a wide angle 1 for a 300tdi but can for a 200tdi.he said that the rear would be fine with a 4inch lift but lookin at it the rubber donut is on a real angle and doesnt look great to me just guna get a 200tdi prop

That's not what you quoted:

Granted, the 300tdi requires the 200tdi set-up, but it's still a wide angled prop for a Disco, and the only thing separating the 2 is a simple 4-bolt flange kit.

when i rang up he just said you cant get one for the rear because of the length of them.there long enuff to not be effected by the angle increase

its not the length but angle of diff ,it is more straight than the front ,and theres no point with wide angle at one end with rubber doughnut at the other ,part suppliers dont allways have the best knowledge depends if theyve actually real experience

good idea ,dont forget when fitting 4 bolt flange ,earlier flange needs a spacer fitting first the later flange has spacer in built ,you can check against length of your 3 bolt flange which also has spacer built in
