Hi all,

I ve been trawling the web but can't find an easy answer to this, do all discovery 2's have air bags (safety airbags not suspension airbags) if not all the. Do any have them?

Simple question but can't find an answer!

My 99td5 discovery 2 has drivers and passenger air bags

GS and above come with both; all come with driver airbag. At least for pre-facelift.

The question is, in a car so old would they work in event of an accident?

I believe that LR recommend replacing the SRS airbags after 15 years.

I think all have drivers air bag but not have passenger ones. I have a grab handle on the left so therefore no passenger airbag.

As long as the SRS system doesn't fail an MOT check then I'll try not to crash...

(SRS light is a fail I believe)
