My wife has just phone to say when she got home she turned off and took the keys out her disco kept running (very roughly) and the light on the dashboard stays on. The engine stopped after a few seconds but the doors will not lock from the fob.
Is there a problem with the ignition barrel?

Update
all the dashboard lights stay on as is key is in position 2 and they stay on if I disconnect the ignition barrel and ECU.
Is there a relay that might be at fault.

I would check the block of earths by the battery
