problems overboost ive fitted a new boost controller and pipes and the waste gate arm is free but im still getting overboost?????? and it stores the fault turbo overboost???? what else can it be and no ive got 13 or 14 freds showing on the waste gate arm?????

ive unpluged the airflow meter its dodgy ive put new boost pipes on to no differant if i put it to ten freds i imagine it will go worse by uping the boost also fitted a new inlet manifold pressure sensor no differant????? if i plug the airflow meter in it goes worse as in kangaroo worse but if i unplug it that stops and then when i reach 4000 rpm it shuts down the power then i have to restart it to go back to normall but the only faults logged are overboost??????? its a hard one lol

the smaller you make the rod you get more boost because it doesent open the waste gate fully !!!!!!! i dnt need more boost... i need to know why im getting over boost???? waste gate arm is free and dead light to move pipes are new plus a new actuator selenoid but still over boost????

you know what your right "sorry" shoud have known that as i had to cut down my rod on my 200 to give more boost after fuel pump tweek:doh::dnfnoob:

The wastegate arm shouldn't be dead light. It should have a fair bit of resistance in it. It should need a pair of mole grips gripping it to be able to move it.

NOT THE THE ARM ON THE ACTUATOR THE ARM ON THE TURBO IS FREE to move from open to close there is loads of resistance on the actuator..
