Im going to swap the rear Axle on my 110 to a disco 300tdi one. I already have the input conversion to a 4 bolt fitting but as the axle coming out is a Salisbury version the current prop is too short.
My question is can I leave the rubber drive fitted and use the disco prop?
Once I convert the input which prop do I need?

I see what your saying but the disco axle is a good one and the Salisbury is sick. Whilst cash is short from Xmas will it do short term.

But you'll have to splash out on a prop for it aswell and I'm not sure if there is a standard one the right length. There are plenty of old Sainsbury's about if you know where to look

I have one fitted to my 90 and also to my 80 inch had to lose 2 inches from the rear propshafts to make it work. The nose of the diff is circa 2 inches longer on a sals.

On the 90 If i remember correctly it was some time ago a RRC fitted with a borgwarner transfer bog front Propshatft was a perfect fit for the rear of my 90 by chance I had one out to compare to my original and was Perrrrrfect!
