Have a 95 defender 300tdi, will need to change swivel ball soon, but due to having no drive to park it on , i was thinking of getting hold off hub assy's and rebuilding and then just swapping over. I can get disco 1 locally, searching the forum says the axle is a swap is it the case of the hubs swapping over as well

As long as it's 24 spline the hubs should be the same although the disco ones may have vibration isolators on the bottom of the swivel housing (big lump of square bar) which you can remove or reuse them

when they introduced the 300 tdi models a good deal of the running gear shared the same parts
