or a faulty fuel tank cap

get the codes read or you will just be firing the Parts Cannon at it ...

I only have an engine warning light. Local garage said its the DPF, turned light off and told me car needs a good run at higher revs. ( I am, and drive like an old man so I thought its my own fault) Happened twice more, then he ran a DPF clean when he serviced the car. As I left garage light came on again.
Called into an electrical garage today, who will run diagnostics, but cant do it for two weeks. Worry is possible damage over this time waiting.
I'm wondering now if anyone close by has a decent diagnostic tester, or to at least point me in right direction of a trusted garage.

I don't have a disco5, but from what I've read i would expect a message on the dash telling you to drive over 40mph for 20 mins.. or similar message.
Make sure you have half a tank of fuel. Regen won't happen if you have 1/4 or less
