It's supposed to go in with a rubber strip with a mallet or hammer and block of wood.My regulator recently disintegrated in my drivers door so i replaced it with a second hand item, this all went fine until putting my glass in.
This mite sound stupid but how do i get the glass into the new gold bar.
Could anyone please help

The easy way is to do it in situ with good quality silicone or body sealant.
Just fill the channel push glass into it in the correct position, run finger along silicone/sealant to point it off. Close window and leave it shut for a week.
Done the window thing, your right it's a pig but we did it with two of us.
1. Fold an old towel or blanket and place on the floor.
2. Stand glass top edge down on the towel etc.
3. Fit rubber into channel.
4. Pour washing up liquid along the bottom edge of the glass.
5. Press channel and rubber to glass at one end of the channel.
6. First person to hold channel still while second person slowly presses the channel along the edge of the glass.
7. When channel is fitted to glass it may require a tap with a rubber mallet to finish off.
Job done.
