Currently have a 5 seater d2. was thinking in sticking in extra 2 in the back with seatbelts.

Is this reccommended and sraight forward as i have located some cheap seats for the rear.
All advice much appreciated.

Be aware you need not only the seats but also panel trims, headrests, seatbelts and a bucket of bolts and nuts.

Check with your insurance company before you get the toolbox out also

Truck started life as a 7 seater. First owner removed seats 6+7
So i guess insurance lot should be ok

If last owner simple unbolted the 6/7 seat and left the rest all in there . Then yes just 4 bolts on each to refit . Are the fold down head rests still in the roof ? And when you insured the d2 did it still come up as a 7seater

Insurance wise it went straight onto our trade policy -
Only have 2 holes in the carpet, (one on either side) maybe this is where the seats might have been fitted.
Cant see any holes for seatbelts or head rests in the roof or anything.

The seats bolt into the side panels . And fold down clipping into the floor and the head rests fold down from the roof as do the seat belts hang from the rear pillars . Does the log book say 7 seater ! Sounds like they took the lot out

Have you still got air suspension fitted? Perhaps they were removed if he had a spring conversion, Conditions of the insurance. Double check!!!!

Didnt quite check the logbook for this info, il have to wait and see when the logbook comes through the post.
Looks like everything has been removed

Thanks for the diagram, found a breaker in yorkshire and i made enquiries and he claims he has all the parts needed to fit them in my truck
I have a friend going over to view, so will have to wait and see

Has your d2 got the extra air con in the roof for all 7seats - only ask cuz if it has the 6/7 seats have a different mounting bracket. Worth check when buying the seats that they match Each other or don't? . Mine has the extra air con this means my near side seat does not have the cup holder and side tray as it has to make room for the extra condenser in the near side of the boot
