can you convert the rear 2 seats in boot from side to front facing as kids not legal in side facing seats?

Not unless you rebuild the rear of the disco and get the work certified. How would the seat belts fix for a start.

fair point just keep adults in them. kids a bit more noisy but you cant have it all good.

Didnt know kids cant use side facing seats

Kids over 3 are legal in side facing seats Who told you they weren't.

It's the putting Seatbelts on them that's illegal
