I was looking for a while, even chased a few at BCA auction but the prices went way high even there. One was a Disco II ES model on a 99 T plate 130,000 miles and it made almost £4000 and had a split door card, missing door mirror and crunched bumper and the arse end sat low on the N/S. Maddness

I found my 97 P plate 300 Tdi SE Auto with 114,000 miles with full history on Autotrader and paid £2500 I could not find a clean one any cheaper, lots of real doggy ones still wanted £2000+

I bought my Freelander TD4 Kalahari 03 plate back in June 2008 for £2800 and kept it 18 months put 15,000 miles on it and sold it for £4200 :D and then i kept my eye on the prices as mine fetched book money for clean private sale. and they went up to over £5000 over the last winter.

So I can see the prices going even higher until next spring.

disco 11 td5 and defender 300tdi are going up in price just because land rover reliability with the tdci and new disc 3/4 is very poor
