My headlights and dash lights are very dim but the other day on a bumpy road I noticed as I was going over the bumps the dash and head lights come back to full brightness but then went dim again on next bump

Everything is good now except dodgey electrics I.e
headlight and dash dimming
Hand brake light stays on most of time
take handbrake off or flash lights it s stereo for a second and speedo
Rev counter goes up and down in time with indicators
none of the heater lights work.
Only passanger window switch lights up (3dr)

But mechanicly its spot on. Nothing is major just niggly annoying electrical gremlims

An iffy earth connection no doubt in the engine bay or behind the kick panels in the front foot wells, they are the easiest to find, next the electrical connections in the dash if some one has been there before.

Hmm ill start pulling it apart tomorrow I think. Could be a slooow process

Hi Marty, you'll almost certainly find that the earth point just behind the battery, attached to the inner front wing is corroded to hell and back.

Clean it up, apply copper grease and re-fit earth cable and Bob is your Mum's best friend.
