I have obtained a 2007 Defender 90 County 2.4 tdci free of charge. Through my work i reposses vehicles on business finance.i was asked to remove some cars on the weekend from a unit as the company had gone bust some 12 months ago. Whilst removing the vehicles the reciever asked me to also take away the Defender which was sat in the corner, no keys no doors and no bonnet. Apart from this the vehicle is in good condition. I ran an HPI check yesterday and the car was showing on finance. I contacted the finance company and told them i had there vehicle. The respnsr from the legal dapertment was to tell me to scrap the vehicle as it has been written of there books as it had been missing for 18 months. I requested that they remove it from the HPI register but they said there was no need as i was going to scrap it. Now here is my dilemma what do i do with it. It is to good to scrap what the hell do i do with it?

Getting a log book and taxing it is not a problem as that is completly seperate from the finance side of it. But i dont really want to keep it allready got a Range Rover
