EP90 gear oil, and fill until the oil runs out of the level/filler plug.

if you are draining to refill and want to know how much oil to get, iirc the capacity of the diff is about 1.8 litres so if you are doing both you will need about 4 litres

Its a lot cheaper to get EP90 GL4 in 5 ltrs. Our local motor factors stock it. As the gearbox and transfer box also use it you will always get through it.

no that I'm aware off.... defo not on the back but not sure on the front as I've not replaced that one o_O

Even cheaper to buy 20 or 25 litre drums, and you will get through it quickly if you change the oil every year, as you should.

Ideal time to buy it with the crude price very low.

I think there may be phosphor bronze in the front axle swivels and as there is in the gearbox its better just to keep GL4, less chance for a mix up.

This looks like bronze/ brass
