I hate keys! And having a fob and a key is a pain in the arse. I fancy a disco 2 key, Land Rover Rover 75 ZT Discovery TD5 2 Button Car Remote Fob Key Case Blade | eBay, if its possible to program them to work on a D1. Or even better, one of these badboys! LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER KEY FOB REMOTE CASE BRAND NEW | eBay


I'm happy to do some jiggery pokery with the cases to make my board fit etc.

Ideas?

Mate, I'm just happy if I can get into. Mine in the mornings. My drivers door lock is sometimes a little short on the throw. After remotely unlocking, I sometimes have to use the key to move it that little bit extra.

I could fix it but I have only just fitted the window and panel back in, besides its always good to leave at least one issue alive, after all the next problem could be bigger........

I do feel your pain as I enjoyed just one key did all with my D2

I have also been looking into this, and even replacing the whole lot with a new remote etc, but not been successful - noramlly another more important job comes along...

But I don't think the current 2 button circuit board will fit into either of them...

If you do come up with an idea, let me know

Or just duct tape the key onto the fob......
