As far as I am a where you can't use a rear hub on the front axle. I'm trying to do some fault elimination on my front drivers side hub as I have the 3 amigo's on my dash and that hub is showing the fault so I bought a second hand hub to see if fault dissappear's or stays I have changed sensors but same issue the problem is the hub I have received may be a rear hub so I quiried it and they said that the 4 corners have the same fitment I know front and rear have different part numbers so does anybody know what the physical difference is between them apart from one goes on the front and the other goes on the rear lol.

i dont know off hand but rear needs a o ring to seal end of axle case front doesnt as it sits in the knuckle

Thank's for the reply I think that's the main difference as bolts pattern look the same think I'm sending it back thanks

I have read that the only difference is the length of the sensor harness, but would double check to be on the safe side.

Sent it back as it has different part numbers I didn't want to take a chance but I will check the difference when I get another front hub as I have an old rear hub so I will try and compare them.
