Hi,

I changed the filters and oil and also same in gear box and would like to change diff oil too....

I have got 3l of the correct oil but unsure where the drain points and fill points are on the diff's and the correct ways to go about this task.

Has anyone got and photos or help they can give me and also I will like to do the transfer box oil to at some point when I can find the correct oil

Many thanks

Ian

I may be unhelpful here as i have never worked on a td6, but on every vehicle I have done it on, the filler hole has been on the diff (where the sun gear bowl is) and I have never had one with a drain plug on it, I had to use one of them squeezable bottles to suck some out, and when topped up, you just do it until it comes out of the filler plug, make sense???

Like the P38 the L322 has drain plugs on both diffs, a half inch ratchet will slot straight in. Make sure you can unto the filler/level plug first!

Set the suspension to normal height when refilling.

It f00k1n won't !! Attempted to do my Diffs, trannybox and PAS flush today.

Now the question is, can somebody confirm the Hex bit size for the diff plugs on the 322?? Largest we had was 12mm and was too small, so assuming it's either 14 or 16mm??

Cheers fellow Rangie owners :D
