hi all, no problem for a change, just curious as to where the temperature gauge is supposed to sit when warm on a diesel 2a?
mine sits about an 1/8th under the red, seemed high to me but it does work, blew the heater water pipe off once and it does go right into the red!! lol

Sounds like your rad may be a bit blocked on its inside and or outside.

Remove from vehicle, attach hose and turn on full blast.

Try a new thermostat, possibly even going for a lower temp one.

My 2.25 petrol was running in the upper part of gauge (worrying) but I changed the stat for a 68 Deg one and it never went past the middle.
