Ok managed to get chance to have a catch up on the posts. Just about to go through the links etc.
The motor sounds sweet but has sat out on a drive for a good while before I bought the Defender partially stripped, If I can actually get the thing running without ****ing diesel out, then I can check that it gets up to temperature and pulls ok. I have been a quick drive but then found the original leak.
My intercooler is pretty tatty TBH a lot of the fins are bent over, so I have tweeked them back, but then it was lying in the back when I towed it home. The motor has done about 180,000 so once it is running properly I can tune away, what is the intercooler secret:confused2:
