I know many who put up to 10% in their biodiesel, so I would imagine it'll be ok in normal derv... although your diesel should be ok even in the low temps we've been experiencing lately... how cold do you want it to go? a work collegue was in the army and tells me they put kerosene in when in temps below -20, but as it's not duty paid here... don't risk getting dipped!

we been having severe snow and -18 temps, tue night did a 15 mile trip to help family stuck, 5 mins from home lost power pulled in engine stopped,but it started up straight away ok, next morning not start, turn over ok but flattened battery,was -15 that morning,had to work so put battery on charge, got to it today put in battery statred ok, but when popped bonnet to put in battery, frost all over engine bay, did get replacement fuel filter but as it running and i had to get back to work, left it for when i got more time, also covered half of radiator by sliding a board cut to size between front valance and radiator, will also try cleaning out sedi bowl at fuel tank as found good thread on here on how to. thanks for help

I'll probably get the P taken outta me for this, but my grandad reckoned that a tarp over the bonnet/front grill and a carpet wrap around the battery was enough to stop the cold frost's/snow from wiping out the battery. Failing that a jug full of hot water over the fuel filter helped the cause.
